Wreaths of the Seasons
When fall comes…I have several emotions. There is a part of me that loves the colors of Autumn. It’s like the trees bloom a second time for the year. I’m excited about the Holidays…and spending time with friends and family. I Love to decorate, and redecorate, so the different Holidays give me reason to do so multiple times during the last part of the season. Christmas..Oh Christmas. I loved Christmas as a child for all the gifts. Now, Christmas has a whole new meaning for me. The reason to celebrate our Savior’s birth for one. But I also Love the giving spirit. I take such joy watching my grandchildren open their gifts….and their little expressions. I hate that Christmas has become so materialistic over the years….but I can not let it spoil my spirit. I refuse. I have to, because the cold and dreary days give me enough reasons. I find NO joy in the winter weather, what so ever.
All this said, I absolutely LOVE the decorations that come with Fall, Winter, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, and Christmas. One of my most absolute faves are wreaths. Do they ever go out of style? I think not. I love to make my own…but I also love looking at what others create…not just wreaths…but their art.
I snooped high and low…and I found you fifteen wonderful wreaths for the Autumn/Christmas season. I hope you enjoy looking at them, as much as I do!
I started with this wreath, not only because it’s absolutely stunning…but because it’s light and simple. It’s not very often that you see this style, during the cooler months. I love the use of hydrangeas in wreaths…I long to grow them. They don’t survive our harsh winds very well.
Here’s another very light wreath…again it draws me in. I absolutely adore this wreath!
This wreath, while true to the norm for fall/Autumn wreaths…it has a very unique flavor. It’s more to the green and browns, and I find it much more soothing than the usual bright oranges, reds and yellows.
I was really sad to find that this didn’t have a source. The delicate form from the oats is so feminine. I could certainly see this in my home!
This is true to most fall wreaths. I am generally not drawn to this type of wreath…however, I am this one. I think it’s the animal print…I’m always a sucker for Leopard.
Again, I normally don’t use the traditional Christmas colors in my home….but red always captures my attention. Someone went to a lot of trouble to make this wreath big and full. GORGEOUS!
I am in LOVE with this wreath. I love sunflowers, almost any way they are served up! And gingham…the perfect touch!
This wreath from Craftberry Bush, is absolutely perfect to me. She used burlap and hydrangeas, and it just doesn’t get much better in my eyes, then she hung it on a perfectly chipped window! Yes Please!
This is another wreath that says perfection to me. I adore the use of one soft textile for the body. I think it lets the eye rest, and it draws me in.
For some reason, that all other traditional colored wreaths don’t, this one attracts me. I’m not sure if it’s the lack of multiple colors, or the simple design. At any rate, it ranked up there pretty high to me.
This wreath has the traditional colors in it, but they are toned down so much by the creams, that you barely notice them….I LOVE that!
I just flipped for this wreath. Although it’s got the classic red and green, OH BOY it’s puuuurrrrrrdddyyy! I really can’t explain why, but I would scoop this up in a heart beat!
This appeals to me on so many levels. I love the pale yellow, I love the perfectly colored apples for the leaves…it’s just gorgeous.
I discovered that this wreath isn’t homemade. When I clicked through on it…it’s in a store….can you believe that you can buy this wreath for under $35.00. You better hurry if you like it…because I’m thinking seriously about getting myself one!
I just loved the humorous nature of this wreath. They took something so simple, gave it some humor, and yet they kept it simple and neutral…and beautiful. Pretty cool.
I hope you enjoyed my finds for this week. I’m definitely doing another wreath round up, before the holidays are over!
