Last year I bought a distressed cherry tree in the clearance section of one of the stores I haunt…can’t remember which…but anyway…it was a risk..and then the drought finished it. Even with my love it couldn’t survive the blow dryer we lived in last year. Anyway the guys dug it up this week end and replaced it with a new one….they were gonna through out the dead stalk and I grabbed it up with a vision. They just rolled their eyes and snickered…..Oh guys….surely you don’t doubt me?!!!?? lol
I took it and spray painted it lime green….and found a cute little orange planter for it to go in!….I’m not normally an orange fan….but this is cute and the paint it REALLY good….so…I….not liking green and orange together will probably repaint the stalk…..ANYWAY…….. I didn’t get to finish the project…and yesterday I had to run to the booth and work.
Afterwards Sara and I ran to Amarillo to grab some supplies. We made a quick stop into one of my nooks….and to my surprise…THIS is what I found!
THAT….is just completely insane!!!! GMTA I guess….just floored me….but anyway….they ALL got bought….and a few will be permanent fixtures at Main Street Market….and a few will be up for grabs! =}….and of course….when my SMALLER version it finished…it will be there for sale!

She will get a make over and then go to the shop and be for sale….I don’t like her paint job, and she needs more bling!….but she’ll be pretty when I’m finished….Don’t let the small picture deceive you…..she is FOUR feet tall!!!! SHE’S HUGE!!!!!!!
