Twirl and Take a Bow
As many of you may or may not remember….I’ve started with five other blogs our linky party Twirl and Take a Bow. Or…as the title today says…Twirling Tuesday…
Last week was a wonderful success in my humble opinion….for a first week out. Over a 120 links! No complaints here.
Each week, we feature a few of our favorites from the week before. Believe me when I say…This is no easy task. Imagine if you will, 125+ gorgeous items sitting before you….you can only choose six of them…But they are all gorgeous, and you don’t want to only have four….well….there’s the rub….sorry….only six.
This week it’s Trina’s turn to pick….so, first I want to remind you who the hosts are….and then, I’m turning it over to Trina.

Welcome Trina!
Twirl and Take A Bow {#64}
Making lists makes me happy. Please tell me that I am not the only one.
My hubby might tell you that I am a control freak…and I might not disagree.
I love being able to cross items off when they are finished. I have even been known to write things on the list after I’ve done them just so I could cross it off.
So in order to wrap my head around all 125 wonderful links we had last week and pick a few to feature…I made a list of categories.
Crafts – DIY Painted Pumpkins
Remember when pumpkins were strictly orange? Maybe there was a spooky face carved in it with a candle placed deep in its belly. Painted pumpkins seem to be all the rage these days and well, I don’t ever want to go back to plain orange. I simply adore these painted pumpkins from 24 Cottonwood Lane.
Recipes – Cheesy Steak Soup
The weather around here is getting pretty chilly. I declared that the heat wouldn’t be turned on until November 1st. And then last week…I caved. My feet were chilly and it was making me cranky. The hubs was cranky too. Baking and cooking is a great way to heat things up. And this soup from recipes, food, and cooking looks like it could warm me up for days! Add those ingredients to my shopping list. Yum!
Makeovers – Revamped Record Cabinet
If I have said it once, I’ve said it a million times….I have never met a stripe that I didn’t like. And this holds true for this record cabinet makeover from Denise…on a whim. The contrast between the paint and the stain is to die for!
Clever Tips – Tips for traveling with a toddler
I have to admit…when my boys were small we rarely traveled…only the 4 hour drive to my parent’s house. Maybe if I had some of these tips, from A Sweet Fragrance, in my tip jar I would have been more adventurous. And now that our kids aren’t toddlers anymore, traveling is definitely on the list.
Home/ Decorating – Pumpkin Candle Holder Centerpiece
Add this project to my list. I need to make these for my Thanksgiving table. I love how Kait from Chickadee Says arranged the pumpkins on the slate with the acorns….too cute.
Party Planning – Rustic Baby Shower
This baby shower décor from Atkinson Drive almost makes me want to have another baby. Almost. {Actually that item has been crossed off my life list}. I think at this point I could be completely happy just attending this beautiful gathering.

Thanks Jeanette! So glad you came to party with us! 😀
Happy Tuesday. Halloween costumes abound, DGS tried his on last night, face paint included. Face paint color stayed on his skin very very well even after many soapy warm cloth wash and rinses.
