Leopard Print Dresser

Today….an UGLY OLD wardrobe makeover!!! I’m going to turn this relic into a leopard print dresser to die for!

She was pretty pitiful Missing the front of the door…and the drawers were just totally scratched up!!!  Sometimes I wonder why folks hang on to these things so long….but I’m so glad they do!

I added a new panel to the front, I’m pretty sure it was a mirror at one time…but I wanted more surface for the leopard print.  I had to work on the drawers.  They didn’t have glides, so really one of the most common problems with drawers like this…is they just need a little gulf wax.  These had a bit more challenges to them…but that’s another day!

Painting her was the easy part!

WELL….aside from adding her cute little handles!

On the inside of the small door….top left I made an ear ring holder and hooks for necklaces…..What EVERY girlie girl needs…storage for her pretties!!! AND there’s tons of room for nail polish and what ever else in there.

Inside the mail cabinet I added that darling little chandelier…a power strip for curling irons, blow dryers and flatirons! A place for rings, change and trinkets. The inside of the door got a full length mirror…and there is STILL room for the cute little stool I added!

Now she goes down as ANOTHER animal print project! You can see some more here, here, and here.
