Good Morning Lovelies…How was your Memorial Day Week-end? Mine was fairly uneventful. Just thankful for the amazing service of our armed forces.

We didn’t do anything significant…my daughter, son-in-law and son came to see me. Spending time with them, is just about holiday alone.

I hope that you all had a wonderful holiday.

Trina is picking features today, and she has a wonderful lineup! Y’all play nice and have fun!

Two Weddings and a Funeral

The last three weeks have been a love fest of sorts for my family.

First, my little {not so little} brother married his best friend and the four of us were honored to be in the wedding. My grandmother passed away {don’t feel sad for us…she lived a beautiful life and was so loved}, and then my cousin married the love of his life.

Since my family is spread out in different cities and states…I rejoiced in the family time for 3 weekends in a row, even if all the occasions weren’t so happy.

Jewel said it best, “In the end, only kindness matters.”

So while I was looking through last week’s link-ups {which are really fabulous…by the way}…I decided to feature the ones that were family centered.
