A surprise from sis!

Yesterday…..after the LAST tile went in the shower….my sister on the way home…found me an AWESOME surprise.

I have been wanting some pallets to face the bar in my kitchen with.

I have learned….if you want or need something….you put it out on the wire…and I did with EVERYONE close…sis..daughter..son..hubby….and sis came up…she spotted some on the way home….so back we tracked!!!

Now…if you can’t tell from this picture…this was NO ordinary find….there were GOBS of pallets….more than we could fit in my truck….cause I had tools too. I might go back after sis’ grouting lesson today! Also in this pile was some cedar tongue and groove paneling that had been torn out of somewhere….still RED!!!! It was new enough that it hadn’t even faded!!! Not that there is anything WRONG with patina…..NOTHING….but just saying…..IN FABULOUS shape…..so a new project will HAVE to come!!!!
