Here’s a little chandelier eye candy that I made for one of my besties’ new granddaughter. Just like the many chandeliers I’ve made in the past, this one will hopefully live to give another generation some interesting stories. Remember my mercury glass chandelier? Who could forget my bowl for a betta fish made from a broken swag.
This darling was one of those out dated little brass chandelier lights….she got a new dress and some bobbles!!!
It was one of those chandeliers with the glass globe around it. I took off the glass, and rewired her. Then I dressed her up with a little black dress. I mean every girl should have a little black dress….right? Then she got her jewelry. I’m telling you…this is one lucky little girl. I kinda wanted to keep this little darling chandelier. I seriously DO have a fetish for them! I really don’t know if it’s the bobbles, or the delicate lights, or just the image old days past that touches my heart. Mostly, things that say they have a past, are very interesting to me. Perhaps I would like to know all the stories they’ve seen. I can imagine what life stories some of the older items lived through.
It’s AMAZING what some paint and imagination will do for an outdated relic!
Do you find things with a history interesting? Do you like breathing new life into them?
Love Y’all!
