Door Windows and Knobs

Just think of all the possibilities that a door or window has…..even the hardware off of them serve their own purposes!  I have several door projects that you can see here, here and here.

The window below I placed a vinyl sticker on.  As you can see, it is a three sectioned window…and the sticker had to be cut accordingly.  It just seemed like it was lacking something, so I gave it some life with blue paint…then just touched here and there around the window frame to tie it in.  She got eye hooks and eventually sold.  I did like her…just don’t get to keep all my projects! lol

I guess the time span that I did this window and the one above….I was on a “sticker” kick. lol  she got a chandelier!  How beautiful would she be hanging on a brightly colored wall?!!

Below I took an old window and placed floral greeting cards behind the glass!  I was amazed how easy this was.  You could do kids, grand kids….or the grand dogs like this!

This could be pictures of anything…including people!

I’m not sure why….but a long time ago my fascination with doors, windows and their hardware became an obsession.  I started collecting these knobs.  When I got enough I placed them on a board….and viola!….coat rack! 🙂
