Decorating with Junk for the 4th of July
Do we know each other? Have we been decorating with junk before? Maybe we were from another town or neighborhood. If we do, or did, were we friends? I bet we were. I bet we got along famously. I imagine we spent time giggling together. Soing shopping and trading recipes. We probably shared flowers from our gardens with one another. I suppose we would watch the fireworks together on the fourth of July, sitting on a blanket at the park, lying on our backs just celebrating our independence. Why? I think I was hoping you felt that friendship with me. Hoping I could share my time with you, showing you how I’m preparing for the fourth, using my old window.Since we would have been together for our block party, naturally we would be decorating for the fourth of july together. I’d show you my playful flag on a window. A porthole pennant perhaps?
We’d make it together. Possibly one would have fireworks instead of a flag, or a patriotic expression.
We’d put eyehooks on the top an attach chain.
We’d hang our fourth of july up and plan more decorating with junk, and continue our plans for the block party BBQ. I’m hanging my outside to decorate for the forth of July.
My I’m glad we’re friends. What do you imagine? What decorating do you want to do this year? Will there be a party? Where are you gonna hang your flag?
Love Y’all
