Crackle Paint

Crackle Paint might be one of the longest standing paint finishes in my bag of tricks.  I don’t use it a lot…I think one can certainly overdo it.  A piece here and there is cream!

When you’re French, and curvacious, you don’t have to pull off a fancy foo foo do, to survive in this world….but sometimes…..it’s nice to just show off a touch.  I could use so many adjectives to describe this little nightstand….but really, she needs no fanfare.  She stands on her own.  This beauty is another one of my curvy tables.  I didn’t get a before…y’all know what a dingbat I am about that…but I’m adding the before of one of my other curvy cuties…the finish was identical.  I guess kinda like sisters…they can start life pretty much the same…and turn out completely different…sometimes like night and day.  Are you like your sister/brother…or did you grow up in the same house and turn out differently….opposite and indifferent?

 

She did start pretty nasty….fake gold speckles and gold edges……

 Even after starting life as an ugly duckling….she sure turned into a swan….

 Who ever said cracks and wrinkles weren’t in style?

 

I love the way they are different sizes and directions.

 

 She gets to keep my curvy four poster bed company.

 

 I think they make quite a cute couple….
