Bamboo Lamp
Lately I’ve had an obsession with bamboo. I haven’t always….but I’ve come to appreciate the organic qualities it offers. Here while back I found a really ugly thrift store lamp. It was the notorious golden harvest that speaks seventies style loud and clear. Between harvest gold and avocado green…seventies just has to be one of the ugliest phases in interior design.
This bamboo lamp turned out to be a wonderful…but total surprise for me. I could see the potential in it…but I really don’t think I saw how gorgeous she really was gonna be…it kinda took me off guard. She filled three qualities for me….upcycle…lighting…and burlap. What more could a girl ask for? Today I’m revealing this little diamond in the rough over at LCI….and I REALLY hope you click over and check her transformation out….and…maybe snoop around a bit. So….grab a cup of coffee and come with me over to Live Creatively Inspired and let’s take a look at this little throwback from the seventies….and…you can see how she started out in life.
I’m not entirely sure I want her to go…hmmm do I need another lamp? Probably not! Do you?

How cute! I love thrift store treasures too! Yeah I agree avocado and harvest gold together was pretty bad.
